HISTORY: Numidia Dragway opened its gates in 1964 as “Dragways, Inc.”, the vision of local physician Doc Pratt. Built on former farmland in the rolling hills of Numidia, Pennsylvania, the quarter-mile drag strip quickly earned a reputation as a hidden gen and became a favorite destination for racing enthusiasts across the Northeast.

Over the following decades, the facility was also known as “Numidia Raceway Park” or “Numidia Raceway”.

After changing hands several times, the track gradually fell into decline. In 2005, Bob DiMino purchased the facility out of foreclosure and, together with his son Vinny, the entire DiMino family, John Barkasay, and a dedicated team, the work of restoring Numidia’s reputation and operations began. Under their leadership, the track was revitalized into a professionally managed, family-oriented venue with a renewed focus on racer satisfaction and consistent event quality.

Today, Numidia Dragway stands as one of the Northeast’s premier NHRA-sanctioned drag racing destinations. Known for its smooth, well-run events, high-dollar guaranteed purses, exceptional track prep, and genuinely welcoming atmosphere, the facility welcomes everyone— from first-time novices and Junior Dragsters to seasoned bracket racers and professionals.

With a strong emphasis on racer hospitality, fair rules, and an enjoyable experience for fans and competitors alike, Numidia Dragway remains committed to delivering high-quality, competitive racing in a scenic, family-friendly setting.

Remember. There’s no better place to race— RACE NUMIDIA!
