HISTORY: Numidia Dragway opened its gates in 1964 as "Dragways, Inc.," the vision of local physician "Doc" Pratt. Built on former farmland in the rolling hills of Numidia, Pennsylvania, the quarter-mile drag strip quickly earned a reputation as a hidden gem and became a favorite destination for racers and fans throughout the Northeast.

Over the years, the facility also operated under the name "Numidia Raceway," hosting countless racers, memorable events, and generations of drag racing enthusiasts.

After changing ownership several times, the track gradually fell into decline. In 2005, Bob DiMino purchased the facility out of foreclosure and, alongside his son Vinny, the entire DiMino family, John Barkasay, and a dedicated team, began the process of restoring and improving Numidia Dragway to its former prominence.

Their commitment transformed the facility into a professionally operated, family-oriented racing venue focused on racer satisfaction, quality events, and a welcoming atmosphere. Through continued investment and hard work, Numidia once again became a destination racers could count on.

Today, Numidia Dragway is recognized as one of the Northeast's premier NHRA-sanctioned drag racing facilities. Known for exceptional track preparation, competitive guaranteed purses, efficient event operations, and genuine racer hospitality, the track welcomes everyone—from first-time racers and Junior Dragster competitors to experienced bracket racers and championship contenders.

With a commitment to fair competition, outstanding service, and an enjoyable experience for racers and spectators alike, Numidia Dragway continues to build on its proud history while looking toward the future.
